Designed in Australia and made in Italy, Find Your Freedom (FYF) is a company run by self-confessed cycling obsessives based in Queensland. Fit is firm but not restrictive with plenty of stretch in what feels like quality materials. There's the usual suspects of antibacterial treatments and wicking technology to reduce smell and keep you cool.
Hors Catégorie is the premium range with technologies like ‘Reflective Pixel’ fabrics for riding in low light conditions. The Rouleur range has most of the higher end fabrics and still boasts handy details such as a waterproof pocket. At the base end of the range is the Signature Series, which feels anything but basic.
When it comes to knicks FYF don’t do a budget bibless version, which is as it should be. Again the Hors Catégorie is the flagship with the Bibestique the second in the range. Both are very comfortable and have refreshingly non- restrictive silicon-impregnated grippers. The chamois is in exactly the right place in both bibs, always a good sign.
FYF feels as good as many high-end premium European kits, yet the range is priced relatively modestly. And it looks great. We were impressed with the clean designs.
